The books that we have selected are limited to those with which we possess a personal familiarity; an intimacy born of the shared love of God between author and reader, and the manifold truths manifested in His Holy Word—our Lord and Savior. Not unlike old and trusted friends, we have been embraced by, enlightened, edified, reproved, convicted, and made exceedingly more aware of our Heavenly Father and His beloved Son, Jesus, by these illustrious, though too oft forgotten, ignored, and neglected volumes. Not unlike old and dear friends, each has elicited tears of joy upon its arrival, and those of sadness upon its departure. The various works listed have been chosen on the basis of content (adherence to Scriptural integrity and intent) and merit, in that, in our humble opinion, they serve as crystal founts from which flow the purest love and reverence for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Within their pages are contained those words of wisdom and understanding born only of a deep and abiding love for the Source of all true wisdom. From them you will gain a greater insight into Scriptural truths via the well-traveled paths of illustration and practical application as well as Biblical exposition and exegesis. You will find listed no work, regardless of author, popularity, and/or prominence with which we are unfamiliar. Neither will you discover those dubious volumes that we feel to be erroneous, ill-conceived, poorly written, heretical, contrived, deceitful, or otherwise misleading. Of the latter, unfortunately, there are many. Their name is, indeed, 'Legion.' Choose a book as you would a friend, regarding not the exterior—though it may glimmer and entice, but those gems which lie buried within awaiting discovery. Seek those qualities—honesty, integrity, truth, morality, trustworthiness, fidelity, compassion, caring—that will most aid and comfort you during your pilgrimage; those particular qualities that will guide your thoughts, direct your steps, shine forth light into the darkness, and serve to keep you focused on the one Cross as you tread that path of righteousness which leads the blessed home. This site will continue to expand, albeit slowly. We, therefore, invite you to visit often, and pray that with each and every such arrival there will flow forth a multitude of blessings to meet and greet you. "Seek ye the truth, for only by so doing will you know and obey the will of He who created and, above all, loves you. There is no other happiness, no other reason, no other peace, no other purpose, and no other life."
