Spalding Top Grain Leather Baseball Glove
Crafted
by the premier name in sports equipment—a company that was long the exclusive
manufacturer of baseballs for both the American and National Leagues, this rare,
Spalding Rich Hebner Autograph Model, Right Hand Throw, Baseball Glove
(Model Number 42-3255) features: EZ-Flex Rawhide Lacing, Nylon Stitching, and
Sweetspot Pocket and measures 11" along the contour from tip to heel.
|
Formerly owned by a dedicated fan of the New York
Mets, this classic, original Spalding Baseball Glove has never been used for any
purpose other than that of display. While the leather—soft, supple, and a
sensory delight, the laces, the stitching, and the Spalding markings are without
flaw, defect, or blemish, this glove has never been touched by a baseball or
broken-in. Should your intended use be other than that
of display, be forewarned that you will not be able to avoid or escape the
break-in procedure associated with all superior
quality, leather baseball gloves.
Lovingly preserved for better than thirty years
by a private collector who tenderly sheltered it in a display case, this
extraordinarily well-maintained Spalding Baseball Glove is in "Like New"
condition.1

Notes:
|
- The photographic representations of the "Spalding Top Grain Leather Baseball Glove,"
which are displayed in various locations throughout this site, were
effected by means of a FujiFilm FinePix 2800 Zoom digital camera with a resolution
setting of 640 x 480 pixels. Although we craved and, therefore, experimented with
higher resolutions, the resulting page load times proved insufferable to all but
the most resolute of our visitors.
