Welcome to . . . another man's treasure where you will discover a wee bit of this (if you are truly diligent and highly motivated), and a not inconsiderable measure of that. Some things are new (lovingly ensconced within the confines of the virtually indestructible and omnipresent shrink wrap, or sweetly redolent of paint, varnish and/or, perchance, something akin to rich Corinthian leather), while others are patiently awaiting radiocarbon 14 dating and archaeologic classification (not really, however some items are quite ancient when calculated against the half life of the personal computer).

Throughout these exceedingly interesting pages may be discovered many wondrous treasures, both great and small, which will fascinate, nay enchant, that innocent, curious child whose presence in the heart makes possible joy and laughter, and who delights in the majesty of creation and marvels at the wonders of creativity. There is, as well, much to satisfy the dour faces of utility and practicality. Such is life—the ethereal: realms unseen where children play, versus the pragmatic: land of steel and bricks of clay.

“We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams . . .”
Arthur William Edgar O'Shaughnessy (1844–1881), British poet. Ode

“There comes to each a season,
When way selfish dreams must give,
To love: the soul of reason,
That an unborn Child may live.”
Jerry D. Babb (1948–), American poet. The Crimson Thread
