Ford Motorcraft Autolite BF42 Spark Plugs
Throughout
much of the 1960s and a portion of the 1970s, the Autolite BF42 was the spark plug
of choice of The Ford Motor Company finding widespread
usage in a variety of engines, including the 221, 240, 260, 289, 302, 351, 352,
390, 428, and 429.
Last produced approximately twenty five years ago
and, therefore, growing increasingly difficult to locate, they are much sought by
collectors of vintage and classic Ford automobiles—particularly the high
performance muscle cars such as the legendary Mustang—who strive to achieve
purity and originality of restoration as well as optimal engine performance.
|
We are pleased to be able to make available a
collection of twelve (12) Ford Motorcraft Autolite BF42 Spark Plugs which were
purchased new in 1972 (the individual boxes are imprinted with the date—"1966"),
but never used. The purchaser of this set will also receive, free of charge, five
(5) lightly used BF42s which are in excellent condition. All plugs are packaged
in the original factory boxes.

Notes:
|
- The photographic representations of "Ford Motorcraft Autolite BF42 Spark Plugs," which
are displayed in various locations throughout this site,
were effected by means of a FujiFilm FinePix 2800 Zoom digital camera with a
resolution setting of 640 x 480 pixels. Although we craved and, therefore,
experimented with higher resolutions, the resulting page load times proved
insufferable to all but the most resolute of our visitors.
